Friendship The Fuel To Digital Marketing Success
Harry Potter, Frodo Baggins, Percy Jackson, Sherlock Holmes. What is common in them? You would say they are all heroes. Yes, it’s right they are all heroes, battling Voldemort, the quest to destroy the one ring, dealing with prophecies and Greek gods, and solving crimes. No, Harry Potter didn’t defeat Voldemort alone, Frodo Baggins didn’t defeat the Dark Lord alone, and Sherlock Holmes didn’t solve any crime alone. They had their friends helping them: Harry Potter had Hermione and Ron, Frodo Baggins had Samwise, and Sherlock had Dr. Watson. Yes, together they won and became heroes. Even Batman had Robin.
As a digital marketer, we face challenges while running meta-ads, crafting Instagram strategies for organic growth, testing out different methods to rank websites on Google, and a lot more to grow the businesses we take on. This journey is won when the business starts growing and achieves its marketing goals. But in this journey, a digital marketer is helped by different people. Like Steve Rogers in The Avengers, a digital marketer has their team, their friends. But those are different worlds, aren’t they?
The digital world is also filled with challenges, and a digital marketer is the hero who conquers them. In this world, friends come in different forms. Video editors bring creativity to life by producing engaging content. Graphic designers create attention-grabbing visual materials. Copywriters craft compelling messages. Social media managers ensure the campaign reaches the right people. SEO specialists enhance online visibility.
When the digital marketing strategist says, “Avengers Assemble,” the video editors, graphic designers, copywriters, social media managers, and SEO analysts come together and bring life to the strategy crafted by the digital marketing strategist. No, it’s not easy.
As a digital marketer, you can’t stop learning because the digital landscape is ever-evolving. Imagine having a friend who pushes you to finish all your work, who is with you through late-night sessions, wakes you up for early-morning meeting preparations, and holds you accountable. Wouldn’t it be easier to achieve your goals?
At CDA Academy, I found such a friend who pushed me through. We helped each other finish our tasks, shared opinions to make our projects better, and most importantly, held each other accountable. This made it easier for me to come this far. Today, I am almost at the end of my journey to becoming a certified digital marketer. My friend I got from CDA Academy has played a large part in it all.
I am grateful to that friend, the mentors at CDA Academy, and all the other friends who have played even the smallest part in my life this Friendship Day.
